Born in Connecticut, I soon moved to Newton, Massachusetts with my three brothers and my parents, Vicki and Pat.  I grew up there, got an undergrad degree in Theatre Arts from Mt. Holyoke College with a concentration in acting, then moved to San Francisco to do stage.  After two years I left for New York City and what I thought would be the bright lights of Broadway.  I usually played leading ladies, but living in New York got to be too much for me.  Ten years later I moved back to Massachusetts, got a Master's degree in Performing Arts at Emerson College, where I began writing plays, and I have been doing that ever since.  (I have also lived briefly in London, England.) 

 

I love the quiet life of writing, enjoy solitude, and read classic and contemporary literature. Boston is my home now.
